D’Ann Scott got her start in the beauty industry over 30 years ago on Goat Island with a small team of two- just her and her mom. After 35 years, she opened Wave Lengths Salon & Spa on Memorial Avenue in Newport. In 2009 she moved to her dream location on Bellevue Ave and has been growing WLS ever since! She is a true, experienced professional. Taking classic fundamentals and timeless styles blended with today’s newest trends- her clients always look one of a kind. D’Ann attributes her success to continuing her education and has traveled internationally with world renowned companies such as Vidal Sassoon, Tony & Guy, Moroccan Oil, Bumble and Bumble, and Spa Therapies. Her work has been featured in The Knot, Southern New England Wedding, and Newport Life & Wedding Magazine. She and her incredible team of beauty experts ensure every client receives the best possible experience, which is why Wave Lengths Salon & Spa has won “Best of Newport” “Best of Newport Wedding” and “Best of Rhode Island” throughout the years.
